Mr. Scheidlinger has over twenty-five years of technical experience advising on trust and income taxation and planning. He works closely with high-net-worth individuals and family office clients on estate and income tax issues. Mr. Scheidlinger monitors changes in federal and state tax laws to effectively advise clients on planning and identify tax savings opportunities. His expertise encompasses all aspects of planning and preparation of federal and state estate tax returns, and court accountings for executors and trustees. Jay Scheidlinger also represents clients in federal and state tax examinations.
Mr. Scheidlinger has written articles in the New York Law Journal, Tax Advisor, Journal of Accountancy and has been quoted in the New York Times, Newsday and Long Island Business News.
EDUCATION
Mr. Scheidlinger graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. He has a law degree from Hofstra Law School.
